One complete set of 3 x 10.5" open reel broadcast tapes of Karajan's August 15th, 1978 performance of Bruckner's 8th Symphony with the Vienna Philharmonic at the Salzburg Festival.
These tapes are set up to run at 15ips and are in 2 track format on Agfa tape. All three tapes have German text, and verify that they are original Salzburg Festival library tape dubs that were sent out to radio stations for broadcast before Dec 31/78.
Photos of all 3 tapes are available.
I will consider offers for this very rare and collectable Karajan recording.

out of catalogues as well as for live recordings.
In my collection mainly devoted to the official recordings I
have some live recording of Karajan's concerts from the '50 with the Rai
orchestras (for ex. the only recorded Stravinsky's Symphony in three
movements or Sutermaier's Requiem (with Schwarzkpof) or Kodaly's Pslamus
Hungaricus). I am obviously interested in changing them with other items.
